Dear Rainbow Girls, Mother Advisor, Grand Deputies, Parents and Supporters!
For years Washington Idaho Rainbow has designed Leadership camps for the membership of our Organization. Each year presents a new challenge, not only brought on by Rainbow but by the outside world! This year we will be having 3 individual camps for our Rainbow Girls to enjoy; these camps will be divided into age groups to meet the needs of those individual age groups! ALL Rainbow girls are invited to attend the camp that lies in their age group. The following are explanations of what EACH camp will encompass.
Our first camp is designed for girls aged 11-13 OR New Members. So what a better theme then Rainbow’s Princesses! THIS CAMP IS A DAY CAMP (lunch and snacks will be provided!!) We are hoping that with a day camp we will attract more girls from this age category! The date will be Saturday, NOVEMBER 17th 2007 and held at the Everett Masonic Center! Registration form and $$$ DUE October 17th 2007! We will be having stations that focus on Membership, Rainbow, Acceptance, and Teamwork. There will many crafts, lots of laugh and memories to be had! Cost: $10 before October 17th 2007 and $15 after October 17th 2007!
**We will also be having activities for the adults who drive these new members! These activities will include a round table discussion about Rainbow and membership, and other misc. activities planned by distinguished Rainbow Adults! WE hope that this encourages the adults to come out, bring their girls and learn!
Our second camp is designed for girls aged 13-16 OR Line Officers. This will be a weekend full of fun held at Dream Camp (Arrival: FRIDAY at 6pm, Departure: Sunday at Noon). The date of this camp will be May 2nd-4th 2008. Registration and $$$ due by April 2nd 2008! Our theme is Leadership Campout! We will be focusing on LINE OFFICER TRAINING. Your girls will be divided into groups according to their office! This means we will focus on their needs! (Don’t worry for those girls not in the line, yet in the age group, we will have a group to focus on preparing them for the line/ leadership! ALONG with having a group designed for PWA’s to help prepare them for their future in Rainbow!) Cost: $25 before April 2nd 2008 and $35 after April 2nd 2008!
Out third camp will be for girls aged 16-20! This camp will also be a full weekend, held at Potts of Gold (Arrival: FRIDAY at 6pm, Departure: Sunday at Noon)! OUR theme will be Leadership Goes Hollywood 2008! Registration and $$$ due May 6th 2008. The date of this camp will be June 6th-8th 2008! Grand Officers, Pages, Past Worthy Advisors and older Rainbow girls in this age group are invited to attend! We are hoping that this camp will serve in training the older girls not only on important aspects of Rainbow but life training! WE will also be having the GEC meeting on Saturday, where we are hoping to have the girls who attend learn more about Rainbow, our GEC and to offer their ideas! Cost: $25 before May 6th 2008 and $ 35 after May 6th 2008!

*Although the 3 camps will be held on the Westside of the mountains, we will be working with the Eastside to come up with dates for “personal” camps. These dates have not been set, but we can’t stress enough: ALL RAINBOW GIRLS, Westside or Eastside or Idaho, are welcome to these camps!
