PUBLICITY COMMITTEE The Publicity Committee was created to assist members of the Jurisdiction to create and develop the tools necessary to produce, promote and fulfill our service products and services. The committee will strive to assist the member of the jurisdiction in the areas of service, fundraising and membership.
Members of the committee may be active Rainbow Girls, Majority Members, and Adults who support Rainbow. We encourage anyone with an interest in our Committee to contact the Director of Publicity to obtain committee meeting locations and times ( Deputy07@speakeasy.net )
Committee Goals for 2006-2007 Membership Packets for Parents Development of a new parent/legal guardian information packet, detailing everything about Rainbow. This packed will include: A brochure discussing volunteer opportunities for adults regarding the Service Project, A list of the various Grand Executive Committee (GEC) Members and Grand Directors, Information on and about the Rainbow Foundation
Media Directory Development of a Media Information Guide for the Jurisdiction, listing all radio, television, newspapers and magazines where articles may be placed and where press releases may be sent. When developed, the Guide will be available to members on the Publicity/Marketing page of the Jurisdiction website.
Media Information Guide Development of a Sample Publication Guide that will contain sample press releases and articles.
Jurisdictional Directory Creation of a database of Jurisdictional referral sources that could provide members with information concerning who to contact when the need arises, e.g., individuals who work in printing, photographers, talent, etc.
Membership Publications Development and accessibility of promotional materials through the Jurisdiction's website. These would include Jurisdictional membership pamphlets for membership and fundraising idea.
